Special Presidential Envoy for Health and Nutrition Visits Lasanod to Bolster Healthcare and Nutrition Efforts

The Special Presidential Envoy for Health and Nutrition, Hon. Abdirahman Mohamed Sheikh, undertook an official visit to Lasanod, the capital of SSC Khaatumo. The visit marked a significant step in the government’s commitment to improving healthcare and nutrition services in the region.

Upon his arrival, the Envoy and his delegation were greeted with warm hospitality by key regional leaders and stakeholders. Leading the reception were the Minister of Justice, Religious Affairs, Endowments, and Constitution, Hon. Abdi Hassan Hijar; the Second Deputy Speaker of the SSC Khaatumo Parliament, Hon. Jama Aden Osman; the Chairperson of the Lasanod Women’s Association, Mrs. Amina Yusuf Guhaad; members of the local council; and other prominent officials.

The visit underscores the government’s dedication to addressing pressing health and nutrition challenges in SSC Khaatumo. As part of his mission, Hon. Abdirahman Mohamed Sheikh engaged with community leaders, health professionals, and development stakeholders to evaluate the region’s healthcare and nutritional needs.
